A theological treatise in the Amharic language (fols. 5r-36v) containing various sections on the mystery of the incarnation and the mystery of the Trinity; followed by short epistles of the Patriarch Margos of Alexandria, attempting to refute the various so-called heretical views held by the parties of Saga (Grace), Qebat (Annointment), and Sost Ledat (Three births). Followed by a similar theological discussion on the same subjects in Ge'ez (fols. 36r-58v). Laid in is an unattached letter of Ras Wale in Amharic to Dajazmacc Tekuya to see off "these faranjes" (i.e. Europeans) who are returning to their country.
